This exists as a reminder that the continued gaze can be both unpleasant and necessary, that the eyes are lingering moments, and that the ears are blessed in all that they forget. That etched into the silicone fabric is some fucking bullshit that is as escapable as our collective apathy towards one another. This is a waste of time, of energy, of my own patience.

I’m hoping, I’m wrong, that there is something redeemable in these objects, that our culture is somehow searching for truffles and not just rollicking in the shit.
